PD Buddy Tops Parkinson’s Europe’s List of Best Apps for the Parkinson’s Community

November 12, 2025

Parkinson’s Europe has unveiled its list of the best apps recommended by people living with Parkinson’s — and PD Buddy proudly leads the pack. The list celebrates digital tools that help people manage symptoms, stay connected, and take charge of daily life. PD Buddy earned the top spot for its friendly design, community focus, and practical tools that help people build routines, track symptoms, and share experiences. It combines technology with empathy — created by Beatrice Zatorska, who drew on her own family’s experience with Parkinson’s. Alongside PD Buddy, Parkinson’s Europe highlighted several other standout apps: • i4Park 2.0, developed in Spain, which helps people and neurologists communicate through shared reports and symptom tracking. • Neptune Care, which links patients with doctors for remote monitoring. • ChatGPT, praised for making complex health information easier to understand. • Medisafe, a reliable medication-reminder app used by many worldwide. • Medito, a mindfulness and meditation app that supports mental wellbeing. At PD Buddy, we’re over the moon to be recognised by the community in such great company. This recognition reflects what matters most — creating something that genuinely supports people living with Parkinson’s and those who care for them. We’re also hard at work on a major new feature — an integrated symptom, routine, and medication tracker. It’s designed to give a clearer picture of how Parkinson’s changes day by day, with smart analytics, charts, and insights to help manage symptoms more effectively. Our goal is to have it ready before Christmas, bringing everyone using PD Buddy a more powerful way to understand patterns, spot trends, and take control of their Parkinson’s journey. As technology continues to evolve, tools like these are becoming an essential part of daily Parkinson’s care — helping people stay organised, informed, and connected in ways that truly make a difference.
