Amneal Pharmaceuticals Expands Access to Parkinson’s Patients with Comprehensive Support Services Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has officially launched CREXONT® (carbidopa and levodopa) extended-release capsules, now available in pharmacies across the U.S. CREXONT offers a novel approach to treating Parkinson’s disease through an oral formulation that combines immediate-release granules with extended-release pellets, designed to provide a longer duration of symptom control with fewer doses throughout the day. Sample Distribution: Healthcare providers can begin receiving samples starting on Sept. 23, 2024. Savings Program: Eligible commercially insured patients may benefit from a $25 copay, automatically applied at the pharmacy via the CREXONT Savings Program. Patient Assistance: CREXONT prescriptions may be covered through the Amneal Patient Assistance Program for eligible individuals. Prior Authorization: The CoverMyMeds® system will streamline the prior authorization process, simplifying patient access to CREXONT.
