November 5, 2026
Looking for a little extra motivation to keep moving this winter?
Join our FREE 28-Day Movement & Wellbeing Challenge designed for people living with Parkinson’s.
Discover enjoyable ways to stay active, try something new and look after your wellbeing throughout the colder months.
As the days get shorter and the weather gets colder, it can be tempting to stay indoors and move a little less.
And when you're living with Parkinson's, symptoms such as stiffness, fatigue and changes in your mobility can make staying active feel even more challenging.
But we know just how important regular movement and exercise can be when you're living with Parkinson's. Keeping active can help you maintain your strength, balance and mobility, manage stiffness and support your overall physical and emotional wellbeing.
Sometimes, though, we all need a little extra inspiration to keep going, especially during the winter months!
Introducing Our FREE 28-Day Movement & Wellbeing Challenge! 💜
I've put together a fun, flexible 28-Day Movement & Wellbeing Challenge to help you keep moving, try different activities and look after yourself this winter.
The challenge includes 24 different movement and wellbeing activities to choose from over 28 days, with something to suit different interests, abilities and energy levels.
You'll find activities focusing on five important areas:
💪Strength – Help maintain your muscle strength and make everyday movements and activities easier.
⚖️Balance – Work on your stability, coordination and confidence when moving.
❤️Cardio – Keep moving, build stamina and feel more energised.
🧍Posture & Mobility – Keep your body moving, work on your posture and help manage stiffness.
💜Wellbeing – Take time for yourself, lift your mood and enjoy activities that help you feel good.
The idea is simple: find enjoyable ways to keep moving and give your wellbeing a boost this winter!
Your challenge, your way!
One thing we know about Parkinson's is that no two days are necessarily the same.
Some days you might feel ready for a more energetic exercise session, while other days you might be feeling tired, stiff or simply not quite yourself.
This challenge isn't about pushing yourself to do more than you're comfortable with or ticking off every activity.
It's about finding what works for you, on the day, and enjoying the benefits of keeping active in whatever way you can.
You can:
🏡Take part from the comfort of your own home.
💜Choose activities that suit your abilities and how you're feeling that day.
❄️Go at your own pace and take breaks when you need them.
🤝Get a friend, partner or your local Parkinson's group involved and enjoy the challenge together.
There's no competition and no pressure to keep up with anyone else.
If you only complete a few activities one week, that's still something to celebrate!
