Designing physical activity coaching for people newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s - take part in research

A researcher at the University of Plymouth is investigating a physical activity coaching programme called ENGAGE-PD. The programme aims to encourage people newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s to get active. Originally developed in the USA, they want to adapt the programme for people in the UK. Who do the researchers need? 15 people with Parkinson’s 15 people diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the past 5 years 10 supporters of people with Parkinson’s What is involved? Sharing your thoughts and opinions on what should be included in the adapted physical activity coaching programme over 6 weeks Feedback will be given in 3 stages, and you will have 2 weeks to provide feedback at each stage Training will be provided You can take part online or by post.
